~~ Rent The Hobble Inn, $600 per night

For a larger group, it is possible to rent the entire Hobble Inn with 4 bedrooms, 2 baths.  This includes the two bedroom options above, and the gorgeous spaces pictured below.  The year round living room has ample seating and is studded with pictures of the grandchildren, the collected art of a lifetime, cozy rugs, throws, and a flat screen television.  “The New Room” as it is still known to family even after its extensive renovation is a crisp space that provides extra living area.  It has views of the lushly landscaped back yard and hillside with a water feature.  There is an outdoor dining area and fire pit just out side the New Room.    The kitchen was renovated in 2013 using as many local and historically appropriate materials as possible.  It features cool, relaxing green tones, gas stove, full sized refrigerator, and beautiful custom walnut counter tops.  An historic corner fireplace was removed in the renovation so the new back splash in its place is lined with original slate tiles recycled from the roof.  The kitchen is the most central room in the house.  It’s where visitors are greeted, offered refreshment, and asked to sit and chat a while.  You and yours will feel most welcome in it.  This option does not include breakfasts.

~~The Loft at Hobble Inn, $170 per night

As the daughter, daughter-in-law, wife and mother of men who serve and served our country, I am proud to say that over three generations of my family have been Veterans. I am all too familiar with the sacrifices, demands, and cost each service man and woman and their families expend as they contribute to the betterment of our country and world. On behalf of my late father, Clement J. Curtis (10th Mountain Division), late father-in-law, Ferman G. Skelton (Navy), late husband, William Owen Skelton (Army), my son, W.G. Skelton (Marines), and all the Veterans and their families who deserve our respect, I am proud to present The Loft at Hobble Inn.  It is the former hayloft over the attached carriage barn of the Inn.  Now it is a lovely and comfortable condo for two. Veterans can stay at no charge, for up to one week. Application is required, subject to availability, restrictions apply. Paying guests are welcome to stay as well, with an introductory rate of $170 per night.
